Step 1

Protect your connection with VPN

  1. Install WireGuard from wireguard.com
  2. Open InfoPeak → Devices & Security
  3. Add device → scan the QR code or download the .conf file → import into WireGuard
  4. Activate the tunnel

Mount InfoPeak Drive

Windows supports WebDAV via Map Network Drive.

  1. Open File Explorer → This PC
  2. Click Map Network Drive
  3. Choose a drive letter → paste the WebDAV URL → check Connect using different credentials
  4. Sign in with your email and your device password

About encryption: WebDAV sends your password to the server to decrypt your files. This differs from the InfoPeak app, where your password never leaves your device. The connection is always encrypted via HTTPS.

Set up mail in Outlook or Thunderbird

  1. Add a new account and choose IMAP
  2. Enter your InfoPeak address and your device password
  3. Fill in the servers below

Username: your email address  ·  both incoming and outgoing. Keep whichever outgoing port your app fills in by itself - both work.

Step 4

Sync calendar and contacts

Outlook has no CalDAV support. Use Thunderbird.

  1. Thunderbird → Calendar → New Calendar → On the Network
  2. Username: your email · Location: the calendar address below
  3. For contacts: Address Book → New CardDAV Address Book with the contacts address
  4. Sign in with your device password

Your personal calendar and personal contacts sync. Shared team calendars stay in the app for now.

Your mail, in the app you already use

Apple Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird, the Gmail app. InfoPeak Mail speaks IMAP and SMTP, so you can read, reply, move and delete from the mail client you already have. Your mail stays encrypted with us.

Use a device password, not your own

Your normal password will not work in mail apps, and that is deliberate. Create a device password under Settings, Security. That way you can cut off a lost phone without changing your password, and two-factor stays in force.

Step 1 - Connect via VPN
For maximum privacy, connect to InfoPeak VPN before mounting the drive. This encrypts all traffic between your device and InfoPeak servers.
Step 2 - Sync Calendar & Contacts
Add a CalDAV/CardDAV account on your device using your InfoPeak email and a device password from Settings, Security. Existing events and contacts sync automatically.

Add your InfoPeak address in the mail app you already use. Server addresses and ports are listed above.

  2. 2 Paste the address above. Nothing else is needed - no password, no key to copy out.
  3. 3 Your tool sends you to a page from us. Tick what it may see, type your InfoPeak password, and you are done.

Any tool that speaks MCP works. Developer tools usually take the address in a config file.

You can see and withdraw every connection under Security in settings. Withdrawing takes effect immediately, everywhere.

Frequently asked

Is the WebDAV connection encrypted?
Yes. All WebDAV, CalDAV and CardDAV traffic runs over HTTPS/TLS. We also recommend connecting via InfoPeak VPN for an additional layer of encryption.
Do I need a third-party app on iPhone?
No. iOS supports WebDAV, CalDAV and CardDAV natively via Settings → Files.app. Just add the account with the InfoPeak server address.
How is this different from the InfoPeak app?
In the InfoPeak app, encryption and decryption happen entirely on your device - your password never leaves it. With WebDAV, CalDAV or CardDAV, your password is sent to the server to perform decryption for that request. The connection is always HTTPS-encrypted, but server-side decryption is used.
Is device sync included with a free InfoPeak account?
Yes. Mail over IMAP and SMTP, and CalDAV, CardDAV and WebDAV, are included on every plan, including the free InfoPeak account - your own data should not require our app. The free InfoPeak account's 5 GB still applies, however you reach it.
