Why WebDAV?

WebDAV (Web Distributed Authoring and Versioning) is built into every major operating system. You can mount InfoPeak Drive as a local network drive and access your files directly from Finder, File Explorer, or the Files app — no app install needed on most platforms.

Step 1 — Connect via VPN
For maximum privacy, connect to InfoPeak VPN (WireGuard) before mounting the drive. This encrypts all traffic between your device and InfoPeak servers.
Step 2 — Mount the Drive

Step 3 — Install the App
Install InfoPeak as a Progressive Web App for offline access, push notifications, and a native app feel — no app store required.

Frequently asked

Is the WebDAV connection encrypted?
Yes. All WebDAV traffic runs over HTTPS/TLS. We also recommend connecting via InfoPeak VPN for an additional layer of encryption.
Do I need a third-party app on iPhone?
No. iOS Files.app supports WebDAV natively since iOS 11. Just tap Connect to Server.
How is this different from the InfoPeak app?
In the InfoPeak app, encryption and decryption happen entirely on your device — your password never leaves it. With WebDAV, your password is sent to the server to perform decryption. The connection is always HTTPS-encrypted, but server-side decryption is used.
