Questions

Do we still need a consent banner?
That is your call and your lawyer's, not ours. What we can tell you is what the rule attaches to: permission is about storing or reading something on the visitor's device. This stores nothing. If the rest of your site sets no other cookies either, there is nothing left for a banner to ask about.
Where does the data live?
On our own servers in Germany. Nothing is passed to a third party, and there is no advertising network on the other end.
What can I measure?
Page views, visits per day, which pages are read, the referring site, country, and events you name yourself, such as a ticket purchase.
Can I move my numbers from somewhere else?
Not yet. A site starts counting from the day you add the line. Import is on the list, and we will say so here when it is built rather than before.
What about heatmaps and session recordings?
We do not offer them. They record what a visitor types and moves, which is a different promise than this product makes. If you need them, keep the tool you have for that.
