Who holds the encryption keys?
You do. Encryption and decryption happen on your device. We transport ciphertext. We never possess your keys - this is architecture, not policy.
What happens under a court order?
We comply with all lawful EU requests. However, our zero-knowledge architecture means we can only surrender encrypted data we cannot decrypt. This is by design.
