Is InfoPeak Captcha really free?
Yes. The Free plan includes 10,000 verifications a month per account and needs no card. All your keys share the limit, and every plan runs the same engine.
What counts as a verification?
One verification is a single challenge your visitor completes and your server confirms. Page views, and visitors who never submit a form, do not count.
What happens if I go over my monthly limit?
Your form keeps working, but protection pauses for the rest of the month, so bots get through. If you upgrade, protection is back right away. We email you at 80% and 100%, so it never comes as a surprise.
Do I need a cookie consent banner for it?
No. InfoPeak Captcha sets no tracking cookies and collects no personal data, so there is nothing to ask consent for.
Can I use it without the rest of InfoPeak?
Almost. You need a free InfoPeak account, since that is where you set up keys and billing. No suite subscription is required though, Captcha has its own plan.
How hard is it to move from reCAPTCHA?
Usually a few minutes, and your backend code can stay as it is. You swap the script, the widget element and the address you verify tokens at. The response has the same shape as with reCAPTCHA, hCaptcha and Turnstile.
