InfoPeak Raises Storage on Every Plan: 1 TB on One and Professional, 3 TB on Family

In July, Microsoft raised the price of Microsoft 365 Business plans by as much as 16.7 percent. Storage stayed exactly where it was. This month, InfoPeak did the opposite: we raised storage on every plan and left the price untouched. Not a promotion, not a limited window. The plan you already pay for simply holds more.

Storage is the oldest lever in the subscription playbook

The trick is not that storage is metered. Every plan, including ours, is metered somehow. The trick is what gets bundled with the meter: save the real security and identity features for the plan with the most room, so upgrading for protection and upgrading for space become the same purchase. Pay enough, and you finally get both.

We were never going to compete on storage. It is not the argument for InfoPeak, and it was never going to be. The architecture is the argument: EU jurisdiction, zero-knowledge encryption, one suite instead of a bundle of acquisitions. But an argument you believe in should not come with a smaller drive than the alternative. That gap was overdue for closing.

What actually changed

Effective now, on every account, automatically, with nothing to configure:

• One: 100 GB becomes 1 TB, shared between Mail and Drive in the same pool it always was.
• Family: 600 GB becomes 3 TB, shared across up to six members, with the same private folders and per-member splits.
• Professional: 250 GB per user becomes 1 TB per user, on top of team drives and everything else the plan already includes.

Free and Shield are unaffected, for different reasons. Free is not a storage plan and never claimed to be. It runs the same zero-knowledge encryption and EU jurisdiction as every paid plan, at a capacity built for trying the suite, not living in it. Shield is VPN, Pass, and DNS filtering by design, not Drive. Everyone paying for room to actually use gets the new limit without touching a setting.

Not a business feature. A baseline, again.

The pattern holds across every InfoPeak plan for a reason: the standard does not change by segment, so neither does what you get. Same architecture underneath, same treatment of the number that used to be the excuse to upgrade.

• One: A full terabyte for mail, files, and memories, no team required to justify it.
• Family: Three terabytes for up to six people, still one shared pool so no member has to ration storage because another member is backing up photos.
• Professional: A terabyte per user, so the plan built for client work and compliance no longer runs out of room before the quarter does.

Questions people are asking

Does this cost more?

No. Every existing subscription price stays the same. The new limit applies automatically at your next login.

Do I need to migrate my data or change a setting?

No. Nothing moves and nothing needs configuring. The ceiling is simply higher than it was.

Does the Family 3 TB pool split evenly between members?

It is one shared pool, not six fixed shares. A member who needs more for a given month simply uses more, the same way it worked at 600 GB.

Why did Free and Shield stay the same?

Free gives the whole suite a real try without a storage-heavy use case in mind, and Shield is a standalone VPN, Pass, and DNS package that was never built around Drive. Both keep doing the one job they were designed for.

The number was never the point

Sovereignty was already the floor, not the upsell. Capacity should never have been the thing standing between that floor and how you actually work. It no longer is, on every plan, at the price you were already paying.
